LIVE! from DEAD SEA
By Lana Nasser & Kristof Persyn
An imaginative theatre and photographic project, based on research about the lake''s cultural importance and the ecological impact of its decline.
"If the Dead Sea could speak, what would it say?"
Combining storytelling, photo-art, and movement, the performance creates a new mythology that serves as an ecological awareness campaign.
17 & 18 May, 8 pm @ AlBalad Theatre

In the Lost and Found: Red Suitcase
Contemplating the predicament of her gender, imposed and acquired identities, a female explores herself in language, culture, and the media. Drawing on personal experience, she symbolically addresses projections and social taboos. She dances with her disparate realities, finding liberation in the roots of things and in their re-interpretation.
